I got this cream as a gift from India soon after it was launched. But the  shade I got was bronze and I was like BRONZE ?? really ?? Later, I found it comes in two shades only beige and bronze. Beige is said to be for very fair complexion.I was never ready to even try it but after reading so many great reviews I finally started using it... Here Is my say on it !!!

Lakmé CC stands for Complexion Care cream. It combines the goodness of your daily skin cream with just the right touch of make-up to give you that perfect look in just a few minutes. 

Its skin care benefits include sun protection (SPF 20), moisturizing, brightening and freshness while its make-up benefits are an even skin tone and basic coverage.

My Review :

This cc cream has SPF 20 which means u can easily skip your sunscreen when you go out. This one is said to be a skin stylist as it brightens, moisturizes, protects, even tones the skin. It conceals and freshens your skin and gives it a matte finish. It is thick in texture just like the foundations and can be easily applied with fingers and flat brush.

I prefer applying small dots all over my face and then blending it with my fingers. It gives such a beautiful natural looking, non-cakey coverage and my skin looks airbrushed! and only a little quantity is required for single application on neck and face.

Although its Bronze shade and i am NW 20 it perfectly suits me. It does not makes me look Tan or dull. I have a spotless face so I swatched on my hands to show how much coverage it gives. You can see how effectively it covered the burn scar on my hand.

But I noticed that if you have very oily skin then you may want to skip this one or instead you can mattify with a compact. The cream isn’t waterproof but if you splash your face with water and pat dry, I guess the cream will be still there. It comes with a shelf life of 24 months which is another good point.

It has a good sweet fragrance which is nothing over powering but some might find it strong but then again its not over powering. I am using it for last 1 month and I haven’t experienced any break out’s yet.

Another great thing about this cream is that It work’s great as a makeup base as it makes my skin silky smooth and soft after application, I don’t need a moisturizer after using it. And the small amount of CC cream goes a long way.

In Short, I am really happy with this Instant skin stylist which means no more scars and uneven tone. So, if you’re looking for a good makeup base with SPF then you must buy one…. I will recommend this cream highly to everyone out there.
