I am in love with lip colors and
these are truly my latest makeup obsession - lipstick hoarding.
Basically I fall in
love with every lipstick :/. I am not a fan of matte lipsticks for
obvious lip
drying issues. But these WnW babies are so raved that i could not
resist to buy them. Its been months now, these babies are laying in my stash so lets quickly get to the review part to see if these
semi-matte lippies are
hit for me or not.
About the Product : Fall in love with Wet n Wild Mega Last Lip Color, a highly pigmented and long-lasting lipstick that delivers rich hues in semi-matte, creme finish in one stroke. Wet n Wild Mega Last Lip Color has a velvety texture that glides on smooth. A blend of hydrating skin-care ingredients such as Hyaluronic Microspheres, exclusive polymer complex, natural marine plant extracts Coenzyme Q10 and Vitamins A & E leaves your lips feeling healthy and smooth. Available in 18 beautiful shades from creamy nude to hot pink.
Pinker Bell : Its brigh neon bubbly pink shade. Also said to be dupe of MAC Viva Glam Nicki
Sand Storm : is a warm medium orange/brown Nude color.
Red Velvet : is a bright cool cherry red. If you love blue-based reds, then this one is a really great one. Bright and fabulous.
Review : These
are semi-matte lipsticks which give a creamy and satin finish. They
glide on easily - as smooth as butter but still I would suggest applying a
lip balm underneath except under red velvet which is way too
creamy.
But the good part is that inspite of being matte they neither settle in fine lines Nor do they bleed or smear, so there is no need to wear a lip liner (I personally use lip liner with Red velvet to be on the safe side). These lipsticks are also great for someone with pigmented lips as what you see in the tube is exactly how it applies on lips. Yes! i have pigmented lips :/ (i don't smoke or anything)
These do not have any scent or taste so if you are someone who prefer lipsticks
with no smell this one is for you. It comes in a plastic tube which i don't mind usually but the thing with this
packaging is the lipstick gets on the cap whenever I close it. But given the
price of 2.75 USD you could not expect much.
